From COMPLIANCE, COMPLACENCE, COMPROMISE 2021:
Inspired by the quarantine status of our neighborhood parks in April 2020.
"This was part of a few experiments dealing with images around parks. These orange construction fences became an obsessive image for me working during the first few months of Quarantine. There were no classrooms. There were no students. My inspirations had to change. The first few works I made of playgrounds and parks were titled 'Don't Play Here Fence' and 'Remember When', but when I look back this work is my favorite.
'Playground' is also indicative of the changes in the size of my workspace when I had to relocate my studio into my basement during the lockdown.
